Historical work at White Cross Ring

OUR STORY

White Cross Ring Co Ltd was originally an offshoot of Vierod & Woods Ltd a sheet metal and fabrication company established in the early 1960s. The company founders Brian Vierod and Brian Wood “the two Brians” would often find that they were waiting for angle rings and flanges to be delivered and were frustrated by the inevitable delay in production they experienced.

White Cross Ring Co Ltd was therefore established to provide these essential components. It soon became clear that this service was in great demand throughout the large UK manufacturing base of that period. Since then White Cross Ring Co has been helping to keep the wheels of industry turning right up to the present day.

The name White Cross Ring Co Ltd originates from an area in Guiseley, Leeds where the original factory was situated. The factory was a stones throw from the White Cross public House and the original “Harry Ramsdens” fish and chip shop. We have been at the present location in Bradford since the 1970s.
